Question on how the new VFX shows crowed control effect displays

TLDR: Crowd control effects are also getting a visibility bump: in addition to reworked status icons, effect types are now spelled out as text above champion health bars, overwriting summoner names until the effect subsides.

I have summoner names turned off in my settings for less clutter so would that turn off this status effects as well or is this its on setting?
