Placements?

I went 7 wins and 3 losses in my placements and got placed in b2 like last season when I won 1-9.Is it normal*[slayer-jinx-unamused]* [zombie-nunu-bummed] Edit:I think it could be my mmr or vod ot be that all the matches I played with a premade buddy?(he got silver)
