Trying to understand Ranking LP points.....

So I'm in bronze and working on getting better. I have at least fought my way to B4 and am moving towards B3... Ya, not a big accomplishment I realize..... But here is my question.

Why does a winning match give you 9-11 LP for rank advancement.... But a loss is 18 - 24..... Seems really skewed or am I completely missing something ?

The number of LP points given after a win is based on how often you win. So if you lose more then you win you'll be given less points because your skill level determines that you belong in that placement. On the flip side If you almost never lose you'll be given a lot more points and lose less when you do lose Because your skill level is that of a higher rank.

Hope that helps clear things up.

Riot literally says screw you newbie, rot in low elo etc.

I don't get how new players will be able to get out of low elo with this stupid system.

I mean I don't have any friends who play LoL to climb the ladder with them.

Not to mention every game you have to face with at least one toxic player who feeds, trolls, lags or ragequits etc.

I guess we have to suck it up because life isn't that fair eh?
