As it stands Ohmwrecker is too expensive for many supports to consider over other items. I believe Ohmwrecker would be a much more viable support item if it's cost was lowered to about the same as Athene's or Ardent Censer. It's passive and active seem great for supports like Taric, Alistar or Nautilus, and with a more cost effective combine cost (even if lowering some stats) It could be a much more seen item.

The current version of the Ohmwrecker was never designed to be a support item. It has always been an item intended for tanky split pushers. It would be weird to put it on a support because it doesn't provide any utility for their teammates like actual support items such as Mikael's Crucible or Zeke's Harbinger.
Dirty Dan Devito1 voteshow are either of these items good for tanky sups that like to dive turrets? not only that but we don't see it out of top lane tanks. I see great potential in this item as a sup item as they have people diving with them. their adc and jung normally.
Zero Skill Tank1 votesThe problem is, if it was any cheaper, winning team would always buy it the moment they reach inhibitor turrets, and simply faceroll enemies with 0 chance for them to turn the game around.
Dirty Dan Devito1 votesI dont know it wouldnt get nearly as much effectiveness buying it only for inhib turrets as it stands righteous glory even costs 150 less and have about the same value in stats and active so just 150-200 less wouldnt be that big oif an impacvt
