Delay on Taric stun seems a little too long.

May have been talked about already, and I'll prolly catch some hate since I know Taric is pretty decent right now. It seems like the windup time of his E makes it super easy to dodge and the punishment you get for missing it is massive since he's a melee support. It's not like blitz where he misses his Q then you have to try to move in for some damage. Taric is already so close that when a stun is missed, he gets tons of free damage pumped into him.

I just came back to league and it's been a while since I've played higher up and what not. I don't know as much about the game as I use to, but I was just curious about what others thought about this.

I'm not a fan of all the delayed CC in the game these days and how it exists to be outplayed by all the flashy mechanical champions, but Taric's stun is fine if you ask me. Kind of balanced around pairing up with your team to cover more space so people can't get out.

it could be like 1/4 fourth a second faster and it should be fine

I'd even accept a longer cd for 1/4 a sec quicker tbh. That seems like it'd make things a bit better.

i completely agree i have dodged it so many times, and his ult needs a slighty faster start up time,

what i find funny is how come i have never seen kledKled and taricTaric TOGETHER in LCS they could literally all buy GA item 3026 first item

Kled kled ults and Taric taric ults

dive tower get kills and if anyone dies they flash out after the GAitem 3026 pops them back up

LCS players are stupid they could also add zilean Zilean to make that shit more cancer

They absolutely gutted the range and width a while back, I think with the insane power creep other supports have had recently (Janna) and how much adc's rely on their supports now a days, I think it'd be fair to buff his e considerably, it's by far the weakest ability in his kit when it's meant to be the highlight.

It just takes some practice to get the hang of it. I very rarely miss his stun and when I do, it is usually next to walls where I can't walk any further to follow my target. Even if you do miss, you are still pretty safe from the damage you take because of Taric's high armor with a shield and pretty strong heal. After you reach about level 8, you should have the Targon's brace shield active which further protects you when missing the stun. Your W takes precedence over the shield from the item so a lot of the time you don't even lose the shield. After you get used to his E, the only way you should ever miss it is if the enemy uses a movement ability in which case they no longer have said ability. Taric's E cooldown in battle is only 4 seconds. Most movement abilities have a 10-15 second cooldown. Something I have learned over my hundreds of games on Taric is to use minions to reset my stun cooldown if I miss and build early mana regeneration to accommodate this play style. My first two items are pretty much always item 3070 item 3114 which basically allows him to spam as much as he wants.

I'll keep trying, but I'm most likely going to need to swap from being a sup main for a bit. Having issues climbing as sup this season, granted I just came back recently. One thing that made me make this post is Taric recently appearing in NALCS. I noticed a pro player experiencing some of the same issues I had so it made me curious. Maybe he is balanced and there is ways to avoid being punished for missing the stun, I guess I'll keep practicing in norms or something.
