Snaggy - easy screenshots

Hello people! So yesterday i played a match as katarina,i had 13/2/2,61 cs and the enemy team surrendered at 17:30. I got S+ for that. Today i had 13/2/2 again,100 cs and the enemy team surrendered at 22:40.I got A for that (proof for both matched is on the screenshot i uploaded ,clicck the link to check it). Why did i get a lower (way lower) grade even though i had 39 more cs? can someone explain to me what the match grade depends on? Thanks in advance!!! :D [katarina-love]

I don't know honestly, but I'd assume it's because in the first game, you hard carried vs the second where you and your bot lane hard carried.

Additionally, your kill participation was higher (63%) in the first one due to there being few kills across the map, where as in the second, since your bot lane was doing well, your KP was 47%.

Were you playing the same role in both games (e.g. mid)? You are compared to others on the same champ in the same role, so playing kat top is going to have different standard than kat mid for example.

Did you ward the same amount? Was the actual damage done the same? Kill participation? How about objective participation? Damage to objectives? A lot of things are taken into account for grades, it's not just cs and kda.

Also, many stats are per minute too, rather than the absolute numbers, so having more cs doesn't necessarily mean better. While in this case your cs/min in the longer game is better anyway (...and in both cases, actually somewhat poor, so you were really focusing on kills to make up for your cs being weak), it's something to think about, particularly regarding all the other stats.

Same KDA, yes, but the kda/time ratio is a lot lower, second game lasted nearly 1/3 again as long as your first. And like others said, it's more than sheer kda/cs, but that's the biggest obvious aspect to me.

It has to do with the overall amount of participation in the match.

The first one you had 63% because it was 24 / 5 / 18.

The second one you have a 47% because 32 / 14 / 37.

You got a higher grade the first time around cause the overall team score was lower. Plus the time difference in the matches.

Like the others have said it's the Time ratio. Even adding another minute can change a S to a A+
