Right then so_ first off_ we can gather that Aurelion Sol is of the cosmos and is in perfect camouflage with the sky above, much like a chameleon. It is extremely obvious if not pointed out that this_ should be part of his kit_, Not simply a visual appearance of his skin, but a unique_ passive trait_ (similar perhaps to EVE ) and quite possibly not the only one. you could even make the W part of the ult and re-make the W into invisibility. like Shaco's Decieve Q . This would allow him to have the starts spinning but also make use of them when he hits 6 being able to fire them. make more sense than them just spinning around him blandly going further away when you proc it. Secondly and this is regarding the vision of his current W passive being visible, even when he is in a bush. That obviously needs to be fixed, if the enemy has no wards in the bush then they have not earned the right to see you. So shame on you for that, and have fun fixing it lol.
Now this is also another chance for me to point out the oppurtunity for another unique passive and also where you dropped the ball yet again. Aurelion Sol is made of the cosmos himself, the living embodiment of the cosmos if you will, he is a star, he is made of them, he_ wields_ them.
The team on this one got lazy, they should have made this a unique passive with charges. Yes we see that they float around his body and do damage, but he should also be able to wield them and pull them closer to throw at his enemies. You guys could keep function of the W ability itself as in pushing it and the stars go further out and do more damage; you see where my idea brings the kit together has to do with his ultimate. And a point is made by Redmercy in one of his videos playing the new champion (I believe its this one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mT-I7sBxqck ) with him saying he feels the Au Sol ultimate is a bit lackluster.
I believe if the RIOT team had made him with an invisible passive like he was teased with and given his ultimate charges that use the three stars orbiting around himself from his W, that we would have a more fearsome dragon than the one we have currently. He has baby teeth, I'm not scared of him and I'm not impressed.
He falls far short of my expectations, especially after the Jhinn release, meticulous kit synergy is something I love about him and other champions. Don't get me wrong, he looks awesome and Im still the first one spending 7800 ip to get him the first day he releases. But....

Aurelion sol is a shadow of what he should have been.

He should have a passive similar to Eve's making him invisible or transparent after a short period of time_ when outside of combat_.

His stars should not be visible to enemies outside of bush without vision.

The 3 stars from his W should be used as ammo and have them as 3 charges on his Ult that recharge over time consuming 1 of the 3 stars each time it is cast, with the last one doing the most damage (you can call it The Final Star, if you will). You can make each star do more damage than the last and just make it a skill shot so it can still be powerful while giving the enemy a chance to maneuver.

The ultimate use could have its own independant cool down from the W so you can make it strong and still_ balanced_. This could also give the ult more bite and more awe. More like omg Au Sol is Ulting ! As opposed to Au Sol Used Ultimate we're good now . This would also bring his W more in line as far as ability balance, always having it on even when not proc'd is similar to cho'gath e always spraying everywhere at all times.

Alternately make the W part of the ult and re-make the W into invisibility. like Shaco's Decieve Q . This would allow him to have the stars spinning in early game but also make use of them when he hits 6 and being able to fire them off one by one. He would be weaker until he gets all 3 back spinning around him and also bring in to the game new tactics such as should I use them all in a fight or save 1 or 2 for later similar to tactics involving Mini Gnar and Mega Gnar especially in team fights. This would make more sense than them just spinning around him blandly going further away when you proc it. if you want to keep the mechanic of the stars going further away from him and doing more damage then you could even make it so that the stars react autonomously on impact with champions or monsters moving further away and doing more damage. It really seems like a lazy waste of an ability for this high caliber type of champion. This could also create cast time for the ult and advanced tactics like conjuring the star from his outer rings in the middle of combat to his hands or swallowing it like a tailed beast in Naruto and spitting it back out at the enemy as a tailed beast bomb, so to speak. it would be like R to pull in a star, or conjure, and R again to fire as a skill shot, being able to do this 3 times with increasing damage each cast would compensate for casting times or conjure times. While adding to kit synergy, tactics and skill shot mechanics all in one fell swoop. It also brings in line your run away W situation. You cant leave the water hose running in the front lawn all day or your going to have a mess before you know it. It is way too much free sustained damage to always be running. you essentially gave him a free Cinderhulk , or Mundo W .

For me, an adamant dragon lover and a fan/player of league who has been looking forward to this champion since its conception; believe it to be sloppy, lazy and lacking in creativity. It is a far cry from what it should have been. It's uninspired and shows me that you all dropped the ball. Well pick it up, please. It's not to late to make this dragon legendary. I see a rework in his future and hes not even out publicly yet. Do not make the mistake of releasing it just because, the fans deserve the best, we wait long enough for this stuff. We look forward to it for months and even years sometimes.
