1v1 Howling abyss

Hello everyone, I am pretty new to league of legends I have started watching some E-sports to try to see what the professionals do and maybe get better myself. Well anyway I was watching the All Stars tournament, and I noticed they had 1v1 matches and I thought I want to try that myself with a few of my friends and to my surprise you can't actually do it. I tried custom games 1v1 on howling abyss and it is the same map but you have the same limitations that ARAM has, no recals, different items, health packs on the ground ect.. I spent some time looking into this and it seems that this has been an issue for quite some time with some posts talking about all stars 2014. How come they broadcast a mode that the average player can't actually play and since they are broadcasting it clearly it can be done and has been setup already. I contacted riot support and they told me that there was no way to actually do this currently and I should post my suggestion on the boards so here I am. Implementing a 1v1 game mode would be nice, however my opinion is the best way to do this would be to expand the custom games options to include things like enabled or disabled recalls, special ARAM items, starting gold, starting levels ect.. Or even for those of us willing to get more technical, open up a way to host a custom server similar to the way Minecraft servers work. E-sports should get people excited about playing the game and when you can't play the same game you enjoyed watching, its disappointing when you are unable to.

TLDR: I want 1v1 exactly the way it was at All Stars event to play with my friends.

Rioters rarely comment on anything on the boards.

They read the stuff we post and place little to no value in it simply because the boards are a minor fraction of their player base.

These boards are nothing more than a minority to them that they hardly ever take seriously.

And they cannot, exactly, be blamed for their low opinion in the boards considering the fact that out of this minority, an unhealthy percentage comprises of players who use the boards to direct insults at Riot.

Honestly I'm surprised there isn't a ranked 1v1 ladder. I've wanted that for years.

im trying to 1v1 a friend right now and cant,,,, B>S and I agree no one ACTUALLY goes to these sites,, just hardcore nerds like us XD but yes 1v1 in customs,,,,, wtf,,, how is it a custom game if u cant at least 1v1,,,,,,,, theres been 1v1 in every game since I can remember AND im 30 yrs old,,,,,,, WHERES THE FRIGGIN 1V1 CUSTOMS.... RIOT,,,, GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!!!!!!PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
