My Honest Opinion : Nunu
Before I start, I just want to point out a few things.
I'm not a pro, I don't claim to be in any sense. Nor do I pretend to know everything about each champion, or the game itself, far from it. I tried my hand at ranked games, I enjoyed it quite a bit, started in bronze 5, worked up to silver 1, and just couldn't lift myself up to gold. That's the way she goes I guess, I've stopped playing ranked so much, and just play with my friends (mostly on ARAM now-a-days). I would however, say that I am a hardcore-casual player. I probably play about 3-4 games each day, at least. With that being said, I've accumulated most of the champions, and for the most part enjoy playing any role, Top, Bot, Mid, Jungle, whatever!
However, there's one champion that stands out the most to me (at least right now), as being overwhelmingly under powered and in desperate need of a rework / kit update. That champion being our big yeti friend...
Nunu. I find his overall kit to be growing weaker with every champion that's released. What role is Nunu exactly supposed to play?

Support? With all the new supports coming out, Nunu falls behind in piratically every aspect. Not as versatile as the other supports, Nunu doesn't really bring anything of his own to the table.

Mid? I'm sorry but I've never really considered Nunu a proper mid character, not when looking at his competition in the lane. It's like having Zilean in the jungle. Yah sure you can do it.. but it's just.. silly.

Top? It's viable, sure, but again, not when you look at the typical top lane champions.

Jungle is probably his best suited playground, and even there I find so many other champions well suited for the task.
I feel as a champion that was released in 2009, it's time for Nunu to get a little love, and a well thought out rework to make him a more viable and versatile champion. He's an interesting champion, and he's hardly used. Even in the ARAM map, he's restricted and often times comes out the underdog.
Personally, if I could suggest some input for tweaking Nunu, I'd give him a few more abilities against enemy champions. I find that as he is now, he's incredibly ill equipped to face new champions, and his kit doesn't do him any justice. Prime example is Consume (Q), I find it pretty useless in a team fight. Sure, it's helpful when you're all fighting near minions and you're low on health, have a chomp on a minion and stay alive for slightly longer, but why not mirror it to Cho Gaths ult? Allow Nunu to target enemy champions with his Consume, to give him a little more health back, and give it a longer cool down or something. I could go on for a while and spit ball ideas about re tooling Nunu, but I just wanted to vent my frustration for this Yeti and his buddy.
And before everyone jumps on the band wagon of telling me how they have the perfect build for him, or saying "You just don't know how to play him" yada yada, this was just my view of the champion. I'm not denying that I've seen great Nunu's, I'm simply just stating that I've noticed a shift in champion dynamics, and I think Nunu is being over looked. That's just my take on it anyway.
Curious to see if anyone agrees with me, because I already know there's going to be people who disagree with me!
