is it me or cassiopeia is way too op?

A few days ago my team(mostly soloqeuers) had the worst game ever,like we weren't doing terrible but there was this cassiopeia player and he would just come out of the bushes and whales a huge ton of dmg and mostly get a double or triple,at end game it was just ridicules. It's was problably something we didn't do because we were losing by 3 to 1 (3player vs cassi). So is cassio op or is there something to do to negate the shit ton of dmg she does?

Lots of counterplay to Cass.

Stay out of her W, use mobility to dodge her Q, turn away during her ult, gang up and burst her down before she can win with her sustained damage, and take advantage of her high gankability in the early game to shut her down before she pops off.

Although if Cass can get fed she can end up to be very terrifying.
