Less "New" characters, how about more "multi-character" combos?

I like the idea behind Kalista where she shares power with a certain other and I have always looked at this game as a team sport. I wonder if certain paired Character could have an additional effect? Such as Morgan paired with Kayle, or VI and Jinx, etc.. when they together allow them to activate a rare skill or power in the game, but something they need to activate together. So when one activate the other gets an on screen icon to activate at the option within a time frame. Maybe something they can use once per-game or multiple times. Example..VI and Jinx they could activate "CHASE" allowing both a short speed boost when together, or something a little more crazy like Jinx shooting here ULT with VI attached essentially transport VI to that location. Adding these "Additional Powers" might push people to choose character that don't get played with those who get overplayed and it adds excitement with out adding more characters.
