IMO the black spear should be a core kalista item that you can upgrade, like viktors hexcores, with its active that links on a long cooldown.

Stage 0: 0 stats Stage 1: 25AD, 15% ASP Stage 2: 40AD, 30% ASP Stage 3: 60AD, 50% ASP Stage 4: 80AD, 70% ASP

They only gave it that window to swap so theres a tiny bit of change opportunities. They dont have it like the active support items because that'd make it way too easy for her to stick it to multiple players and people would lose track of who has it in a team fight.

Agreed. If you can swap targets with Zeke's and Vow, you should be able to.
