Was in a 3's ranked placement, we were winning our 3rd consecutive game and all 3 of us randomly dc'd after we were about to end when i 1v3'd their team with shyvana as they were complaining about me being op. We all came back and the game was over and none of us had the game recorded in match history and we're still 2/5 in placements.

I was just wondering if the servers had issues last night when this happened? i dont fully know how ddos works but their nidalee's name was "1800 DDOS" lol. We waited til this morning to see if it was just a bug but if it was ddos will we not get the game recorded?

kinda nervous to start another game right now :x

It seems a bit overkill for a person to level an account to 30 with that user name, just to DDOS one game.

DDOS stands for distributed denial of service. Basically you get a bunch of computers from all over to beg the server to listen to them until the server is too busy trying to answer the fake requests to get back to the real ones.

Seeing as the key to a DDOS attack is different computers in different locations, the only way for one person to run a DDOS is if they get a piece of malware on a bunch of computers then tell the malware to pester the server.

Odds are it was just a fluke that Nidalee's name was that.
