Riot please remove the autofill, that influenced my gaming experience a lot,it always make people can not get their own role, leading to failure of the game, and also, autofill is almost no help to reduce waiting time in queue.

I knew this would be a bad idea from the start. Forcing players into roles they never have had to play/gotten experience on.

And what happens to one tricks? Annie bot and the likes? or people who will ever only play one role?

Personally the only role I ever play on ranked (now) is Support. I used to play mid/other roles for a few games but I decided I wanted to only play support in ranked to improve my chances of winning (as support is hte role I know best)

And what happens when the autofill throws me into top lane? a lane I CANNOT PLAY. There is not a single champion I know that can play top lane reliably. or what about ADC? Another role I never play I only have experience on one champion and even then I'm unreliable at best.

Autofill should be an option not a requirement. There should be a selection in que that says:

"Primary" - "Secondary" - "Outfill: ON/OFF"

Sounds to me like all you people complaining about getting a role u dont like just need to git gud.

Learn other champs and roles. You can't always get what u want. Be a team player.

true, I main mid, and I sometimes get fucking ADC or support

guess who I have as support? NO ONE,

I know lux, brand, karma, Annie and etc. can support but firstly, its not that good as a normal support, Annie does not offer any utility to the team, brand focuses more on the damage, karma does support but we will move on to the second reason why i do not like support as karma or any other champ we have anivia, her W might cause some serious problems, might block my ally by mistake, her kit focuses on building damage on her E (the R and the Q thingy things about her E), so I would secure a kill by mistake for my adc and there are much much more champs to talk about

2nd reason why I do not want to support, I do not know how to support in general. I mean I played a few games with Alistar but come on! I do not know which items to go as support! I just go with random recommended items and that's it! plus I do not know how to position myself in the laning phase and what to do in team fights and who to focus, do I focus their assassin if they have one? their tank? their mage? or their adc? or their support? OR WHOEVER tHERE IS!

please rito gems, remove it, srsly just remove it

and same thing goes for adc. i literally do not have any adc in my champ pool

Concerning champions for support, brand can work perfectly fine. If this is a big issue though I would suggest purchasing a support on the cheaper side of ip. Considering who to focus, you generally peel and in general support your team as support

Should it be removed? No. I agree it should be a toggle option with some sort of benefit. Like an extra 5Lp or somthing if your autofilled into a non chosen role.

I gotta agree with this guy. I don't mind waiting 1 hour to play a game, as long as I get my role and my peps are happy with their roles as well. Queue time was never a problem for me, and I bet many players couldn't care LESS. Honestly, autofill is a freaking step back and stupid as there will be more trolls all over the place. Riot, please, learn your audience!

I can do mid and I can do support. I am pretty new to MOBAs and LoL.

It would be ugly if I had to run top or ADC. Jungle, not so horrible but I am not great at it either. I run a Poppy Jungle build. Lol.

Would you rather go back to pock order and hope you don't get into alevery game last pick with two others who main your role and don't want to trade?

That's basically what autofill is replacing. Someone has to play support every game. When people got to pick their roles before getting into queue, that something had to be done to get people into that role.

Current system with autofill: you get your selected roles often, sometimes forced to fill to make queue times reasonable. (good match quality, average queue times, average/reasonable role selecrion) No autofill: You play your selected roles every game. Queue times climb, or match quality falls, as something has to be done to fill those teams up. (good quality with high times, or poor matchmaking quality with average queue times, perfect role selection) Old system: Pick order decides who gets their roles. Queue times are low. (good matchmaking quality, average queue times, no role selection)

For every gain in role selection people want, either queue times or matchmaking quality mist suffer. Same goes with making either of the other two more important.

Queue times in the upper ranks are already pretty slow. This change would make them even slower.
