Please make Taric grades easier.

I just went 3-3-20 on a melee support tank and got A. I ward a lot, in comparison to ranged supports, melee supports seem near impossible to get S grade. I'm mid plat, I have played at D3 on a different account, I can say I know about the habits of a good support. My KDA was almost 8, so why wouldn't I get an S. I don't have comparisons to other melee supports since Taric is the only melee support. I played a lot of Janna, it is extremely easy to get S on a ranged support.

I find it easy to get an S on Taric. The key difference in playing him versus, say, Janna, is to be aggressive with his passive. You can mow down towers, and if you comminicate with your ADC to keep from grabbing CS, you can essentially outheal a soraka on two champions at once. Where you get an S is going to come from healing, from damage prevented, and from getting Targon's gold to your ADC. I personally find it harder to get S ranks on ranged supports than on melee ones, honestly. It's a matter of your playstyle - yours is most likely more conductive to a ranged support, so you tend to grade better there than playing Taric, Leona, Kench, etc. It's not a problem with the grading.

It's based on how you compare with other taric players in that role. So while you are much better than other janna players as a support you are not as good comparatively speaking with taric.

Granted it's not based on how "good" or "bad" you are but rather the metrics that they use to measure which they won't tell us. Maybe you're not getting as much CS as other taric support players and while taking CS from an ADC is bad maybe other taric players are using their relic shield more often etc... It's probably something small like some Taric players last hit turrets or something but who knows because they don't really give us all of the info that goes into calculating an S rank.

certain champs are hard to get a "S" on

for example from what i hear its CRAZY hard to get an S+ on Zed

why? because 400 farm.. and going 18/0/10 is NORMAL for zed. yes it would be CRAZY good on most champs.. but on zed.. it's expected... so you might only get an A+ or and S-

other champs Orianna or Lux or Karma .. even when played mid... are expected to have a CRAZY number of assists for them to get a high grade., because they are ABSURDLY easy to get an assist with. so if you end the game with less than 20 assists.. you did bad

Needs more assists. Taric is one of the easiest champs to get assists with. Keep refreshing shield and tagging as many people as you can with heals in a fight.

I have no problem getting S's on Taric. The key is being aggressive and "accidentally" taking some kills. Do some damage with the guy.
