a little upset, won 5 of 10 and got bronze 1, dropped me out of silver, and my brother played his provisionals and only won 2 but got silver 4, i dont know whats going on. anything else like this happen to anyone?

your brother was gold or higher I'm guessing. it goes by your mmr before the reset.

no, he was unranked, and his mmr was bad, he has about a 37% win loss out of about 700 games. my friend made it to gold after about a week or two of constant gameplay, it suprised him also and now he doesnt even want to play ranked to finish his provisionals.

if he was unranked, he had it easier as people often do when first starting out. I also should say that if your mmr is high (which it could be from how the system is set up), you will gain a lot of lp pre win and lose little.
