Poppy has the longest range as a melee champion (pics)

Does anyone know why: Poppy's Ranged Attack with Hydra Passive for some reason extends the damage range to that of her melee attack with the active (3rd pic)....????

  • according to http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Titanic_Hydra, Titanic Hydra adds 700 range for the active component, and if you look at the Patch History, the passive cleave adds 385 range.

  • this means Poppy's range attack (425) + Crescent Actie (700) gives** Poppy 1125 RANGE!!! as a melee champ! WTFX!
