Hello, I just recently got to diamond 5 on my other account and soon realized that climbing beyond diamond 5 is quite difficult for an average player like myself. When I win a game, I would win around 13-16 lp and when I lose, I lose around 20-25 lp. So that means that you have to win 2 games in order to make up for 1 lose. I just recently came back to league of legends so I don't know about the changes, but isn't this a bit drastic?

Just like in any other division if you hower at D5 but with something like 45-48% winrate then naturally u'll get 10-15 points and lose 20-25. However if u start to equalize it by having 50% for a week or so it will start to improve.
However on personal experience on 4 different servers i'D say just keep playing if you want to go higher.
THe D5-4 trashold is pathetic simply. Skilled players with eloboosted fucks and ebay idiots lumped together. Basically it's just like rolling a dice, if you get1-2-3 u win 4-5-6 lose. D3 where diamond really starts becoming diamond and above D1 is where the really srs business starts.
