Well I used to always take ignite in lane and it usually back fired when I alwasy forgot to use it or used it when they were going to be a secured kill. So lately I have been taking tp does this make sense to any one els also I have thought about taking as sups or adc please tell your opinion.
I've been taking nothing but in the Top/Mid lane.
is basically just used to snowball champions if used right.
It's good on champions like 
etc.
I usually play champions that scale really well into the late game so i just don't find very useful.
can win you the lane if used at the right time. If you back, shop, and TP in you can easily force your opponent out of lane and take their tower/deny them a couple waves.
Depends on what type of champions you play.
If you like playing for the laning phase/ play champions that can't duel/ or have no wave clear then take ignite and in mid game group with your team.
If you like split pushing champions that can duel and want to be able to get back to the team if a fight breaks out take TP.
