I don't understand this game and it's logic.

Why is my team being walked over by a Nasus who has built full tank yet is able to 2 shot our adc all while ignoring our damage as a whole? Why was the Jarvan from my last game tanky as balls but still assassinating or chunking people for a good deal of their health?

I play support or try to and I have no way to peel theses behemoths off of my adc without either getting one shot myself or having them just walk through it like it was a minor speed bump. Seriously wtf am I doing wrong?

What kind of supports are you trying to stop a Nasus or J4 with? Do they have reliable cc or disengage that can help save a teammate?

Champions like Janna, Thresh, Lulu etc all bring reliable disengage or cc to a fight that allows you to peel for you teammates.

You need to find a hard counter to their specific style.

Nasus gets free damage on his Q by last hitting minions with it. If Jungle/Top and possibly mid do nothing to stop his early game farming he will essentially be a full tank with a 800+ dmg Q with triforce. Best way to deal with one I find, is to keep the waves pushed, and otherwise ignore him. And just run off to do something else if he comes looking for a fight.

Holy fuck, so his damage just keeps ramping up?

Yup. Nasus, Veigar notable champs that just get stronger and stronger as the game goes on. Sion gets health from (minion)kills, so he also grows over time. But because his base health is kinda low for a tank it's more of a gimmick than a real boon.

Nasus has a weak early game where most of them just afk farm. So if you get either a champ like Sion who stuns nasus every time he tries to stack, or get somethings that roams and gets shit done while its essentially a 4v5 so RAIDBOSS NASUS never happens because everything lies in ruins and his team hates him for never being there.

Don't forget that Darius shits on Nasus' early game as well due to raw damage.

heres the solution

play masis and youll see why hes weak when you reach a elo where hes stomped and youll see how nasus loses and why he is weak

oh wait nvm. quas the top 10 challenger got there by spamming nasus

He spammed a different version of nasus though lol. He played lane pressure nasus. Start item 1056 and max e. Then go item 3512 and full tank and just shove with that. Easier to play and harder for the enemy team to deal with than stack q nasus.

You basically draw all the pressure top without getting picked off and you open up the rest of the map for free because if they don't stop you they lose that entire lane. The only way to really beat lane pressure nasus is by killing him solo. Darius and trynd can sometimes do this. Jax too.

not your fault, its the game and when those "behemoths" get super fed you cant really do much as support

Because something something powerspikes, hard choices and itemization. Oh and also champion kits.

I'm guessing from your level that you're new to the game. Nasus and Jarvan are fighters (Jarvan has a pretty flexible build path, so he can be a tank or an assassin as well). Nasus is specifically a Juggernaut, and Jarvan is a Diver.

Juggernauts are weak to kiting. This means that you/your team should apply slows on him so that he can't walk towards you as quickly. He can only do damage when he's close. Other Juggernauts include Garen, Darius, Udyr, Illaoi, Volibear, etc., and they all have the same weakness. Each has a different way to play against them, but kiting is the common weakness of the Juggernaut class. As a support, use your CC abilities on Juggernauts. Most supports have some CC in their kits.

Divers should be focused down. I'm guessing that in your game, Jarvan bought items like item 3748. That means he should stack HP in order to do damage, and build little to no armor and magic resist. In that case, %HP damage should be used on them. Most tanks and many ADCs have %HP damage, and junglers that build item 1416 should try to focus them.

Overall, if you want a support that can protect the carries well, Wardens (defensive tanks) and Enchanters (squishy casters that focus on buffing allies) are ideal. Some examples of Wardens are Alistar Braum TahmKench , and some examples of Enchanters are Janna Bard Sona Nami. Janna is one of the best (if not the best) support at peeling, so you may want to pick her up if you want to keep playing supports.

On a more general note, supports can engage or do damage too, instead of just peeling. You may have more success as someone like Leona Blitzcrank Zyra if you think the defensive playstyle isn't for you.
