Can I?

Get banned for smurfing when I am actually not a smurf? I am climbing my way out of silver on my main account. I recently just finished a game where I played Vayne. The entire enemy team kept blowing up the all chat saying that I was a smurf, because "silvers don't have those mechanics" They all told me that they were reporting me, and that they all said that you can actually get your account taken away?

So I am here on the boards to see if that is an actual offense to get banned for? It's not letting me log onto my main account here on the boards so I am posting on a really old account. I just don't want to be banned for "smurfing" when its my main account. Like its my only account that I play on, and its not my fault that I decided to play a boatload of normals before I actually starting playing in ranked.
