Ive been playing mid lately and I really enjoy orianna and syndra but I would like 3 champs to play. I like those two champs because I came from adc and I feel like they have somewhat a similar play style during team fights but also when you make a mistake you can tell. Are they any other champs like that in the mid lane that fit that.

So you basically like control mages. What SKYEMOON suggested is good and also I would add azir there but he needs way more time into him to do well, if u get him right though he is extremely fun and rewarding at the same time
is hard to use (specifically his laser) but very rewarding
You could also try cassiopeia, a champ with some of the highest mid and late game dps in the game due to her poison and twin fang.
