Jungle: Volibear warwick Mid: Annie, Talon

those champs are way way too hard for you to play until you hit diamond. right now, you are at a 5% understanding of league of legends, and adding a whole 5x higher skillcap with those champions mean you will improve so slowly it will take you 2 seasons to hit diamond if you played every day and were naturally good at improving, to an unnatural level. You can play those champions at challenger in korea, (wont have a good time, but can still do it) but they are great because their options are a bit limited, but can do pretty much anything in the game as far as roaming, teamfighting, pushing, require thinking. If you play lets say NIDALEE, its nidalee doing the work, not you, you don't have a good enough grasp to take advantage of her, but by virtue of her abilities, you can manage to do significant damage in comparison to other silver players.

Take a look at my match history, I am absolutely crushing almost every game currently, playing simple champions, even though I'm of a significant higher elo than them, I'm playing solid and punishing mistakes, not forcing them.

Play easy to play champions, ones you enjoy, and stay away from ones that have so many options but very easy to punish.

While Gangplank and Nidalee are both rather powerful champions in the right hands, you probably won't be able to play them proficiently enough to outperform simpler champions. I don't intend any offense (and I personally prefer simpler champions myself for their reliability), but you are better off avoiding the more complex and skill-based champions.

Personally, I would recommend trying some of the following champions to see if you like them.

Jungle

Nidalee

I would highly recommend avoiding Nidalee. While she is extremely influential at higher ELOs, she isn't easy to play and doesn't offer much to her team if she falls behind.

Sejuani (Skin Suggested: Poro Rider) Nautilus (Skin Suggested: Astronautilus)

Both of these champions provide excellent initiation/peel for teamfights and ganks, are very durable during fights and provide consistent damage during teamfights. Their initial clears are a little slow, but that's sorted out once you have Cinderhulk.

Volibear (Skin Suggested: Constable) Trundle (Skin Suggested: Default)

These options are both very durable with moderate utility, but their damage during skirmishers and teamfights is rather potent considering they generally build almost entirely defensive items.

One item of note is Trundle's Pillar. This is an extremely versatile tool which can be used for:

  • Trapping opponents
  • Disrupting abilities (both dashes and channels)
  • Blocking jungle pathways
  • Pinning opponents to walls
  • Saving your allies (nudge out of the path of a skillshot, interrupt pulls, etc)

Amumu (Suggested Skin: Little Knight)

You can't have a list of recommend junglers for lower ELO players without including Amumu. His initiation and damage are great for starting teamfights and catching out opponents. He clears the jungle rather quickly, provides great consistent damage against objectives, versatile build paths and great teamfighting.

Mid Lane:

Lux (Suggested Skin: Default) Lux is a long-ranged burst mage with massive amounts of utility in her kit. Her combination of CC, range and shield make her extremely safe throughout the game and let her assist her team significantly even if she falls behind. She provides efficient and save waveclear which can be used to stall non-Baron pushes indefinitely and her long-ranged snare has the ability to catch out targets.

Jayce (Suggested Skin: Debonair, Full Metal or Forsaken)

Jayce is an extremely versatile champion with tools in his kit to handle most match-ups and situation. He provides very potent poke and all-in potential, decent waveclear and snowballs very well. He takes a little practice to get used to, but he is well worth the effort.

Swain (Suggested Skin: Tyrant)

Swain is a very durable mage with good consistent damage throughout a teamfight (so long as you have mana). His kit provides enough utility to disrupt opponents while he whittles down the opposing team, healing off any damage they take. In addition, his burst damage is deceptively high to a single target provided he can keep them within his Q for a decent duration.
