Hextech Crafting : Leveling up champions

Uhmmm guys I dont get the thing in leveling up champions because I have level 5 vayne and I want it to get to level 6 but it wont let me, it says that I need 1 champion shard or 1 permanent vayne champion I dont get it? please help.

leveling up to lvl 6:

reach level 5
get S- or above twice (getting an S- or above after reaching level 5 grants you a level 6 token in your loot)
combine 2 level 6 tokens with either 500 blue essence, 1 champion shard (inyour case a vayne champion chard) or a permanent (vayne) championshard. Once combined you get level 6 on said champion.

leveling up to lvl7:

reach level 6
get S or above 3 times (S- doesn't grant you a level 7 token, only S and S+)
combine 3 level 7 tokens with either ~~500~~ 600 blue essence, 1 champion shard (inyour case a vayne champion chard) or a permanent (vayne) championshard. Once combined you get level 7 on said champion.

P.S: The difference between a champion shard and a permanent champion shard:

champion shards are obtained via chest openings, the ones you can upgrade to a permanent.
permanent champion shards are obtained by rerolling 3 champion shards and getting one you already owned or upgrading a champion chard of a champion you already owned into a permanent (not sure about the latter ^^)

Just 1 thing to correct: Upgrading a champ mastery from level 6 to 7 costs 600 blue essences, not 500. ^^ But good job on this comment explaining the mechanism.

well truth to be told i haven't upgraded anyone to level 7 yet XP thnks 4 the correction though ^^
