Is there any way to get Riot to help us out with AFKs? Check my last 3 ranked queues..I have participated in 3 back to back to back 4v5s in which people just quit for no reason. I don't think I deserved these losses and at least feel like I deserve some loss prevention to get my points back. Its very frustrating especially considering the fact that I was on a 4 game win streak before that.
redniwediS1 votesI hate to say it but you don't exactly deserve anything. Riot gives loss prevention to those who run into problems caused by Riot, if it's not caused by Riot it's not covered. Just keep improving your skill and knowledge of the game and bad cases of luck like this won't effect your overall ability to climb.
ïîï1 votesI've got to agree a 4v5 is unfair... that being said they should have something in place were if you loss you don't loss as much points but if you win the afk gets none and you get +3 added.
Weedlayer1 votesWell, afks already don't gain elo if their team wins (I THINK, it's counted as a leave after all, not a win).
Basically, the problem is, if the losses of lp from one side aren't proportional to the other team's gains, then the total amount of lp increases, and you get rank inflation (Something that was such a problem in S3 Riot had to allow tier demotions).
Any solutions to this problem, and which could not be abused by a losing team harassing one of their players to leave to mitigate LP loss?
