An Honest Talk About the Matchmaking System
Honestly, Riot...your matchmaking system needs some serious work. Personally, I've reached a point (as I know many others have) where I'm sick to death of: >Win 5 games >MMR system decides you're progressing to quickly >Play against people in much higher elo, but with people on much lower elo on your team >Inevitable loss because it's literally impossible to carry 4 people with less game knowledge/mechanics as you against 5 people with as much or more game knowledge as/than you (think being silver 2, people on your team are bronze 3, players on the enemy team are gold 4) then: >game sees you have lost >game puts you on team with 4 other people who have lost >4 tilted players on one team who, without fail, try to early surrender even if you are even or winning >total negative feed fest >lose 10 matches straight because it's impossible to carry negative tilted people who want to lose, especially if you want to win >report system does nothing
I know you don't care because you're busy making money out the a$$ and one player means literally nothing--but I'm over this. Frankly, the hidden MMR system is busted. Players should not be lumped together by anything other than their division and tier, and they shouldn't be playing against anyone outside their division and tier, or at the most 1-2 up or down. That's what ranking systems are for.
