I have been in gold promos twice an am currently silver 3 or 2 ish. According to several of the LOL sites, I win my lane over 85 % of the time, yet my win rate is under 50 %. I have never seen so many bad players. Wrong 1 st items, forced into positions they can t play, No understanding of how to win. Almost EVERY game now has 3-6 BAD players.

So it s luck now, being skillful in lane,or map or with your champ no longer matters.

IT IS PURE LUCK who your qued with an that determines whether you'll win or not..not your own ability.

(Silver 1 and below I d say.

I really hate these posts for they are a huge fucking insult to Golds and higher. Do you have any fucking clue how offensive what you said is? There are players who work their BUTTS off to achieve their rank. So when hard stuck silvers and bronzies like you have the balls to say.

"oh it's all luck" It's just a flat out insult. Kids like you really deserve a firm smack on the head. You are literally saying anyone gold or higher doesn't deserve their rank and got it purely out of luck. You are saying "oh you got lucky, you didn't work for your rank"

I have gotten gold 2 seasons in a row, and at the moment I am silver 2. I flunked my gold promos once. But you know what? THAT WAS MY FAULT and no one elses. The only person I blame is myself. But you know what, i'm going to work hard, and i'm going to get back into gold, and when I do it will be because I DESERVED IT. Because MY SKILL deserved it. Not because of fucking luck.

So sick and tired of people saying this is a luck game. Go fuck yourselves.

you belong where u belong. Its not ur team being suck, its you being suck. Got placed in bronze in flex got to gold less than 40games, i was even matched with plat, diamond gaining 30lp per win. Your limit is silver

I even have my smurf that got to gold from bronze 4 less than a week with 75%winrate.

Its not about LUCK your skillcap is silver. You are the one that suck. Bet those challenger players such as faker, imaqtipie got to challenger with luck i guess?

As someone who literally just climbed through from Silver 5 to Gold 1 on a new account in a matter of 3 weeks of playing only a few ranked games a day I can say this is a blatant myth.

Carrying games is still entirely possible. You still have some semblance of team reliance but only to the point where you need your 4 other Beginner Bot allies to do a little bit of objective taking work.

Edit: Oh and I did it mainly using my 63% winrate top/jungle Warwick and my 67% winrate top Singed. You have no excuse.

nah its still skill, just a bit of luck destroying your lane hard enough wins the game

also wanna add you probably don't know what winning your lane means

Just went on a 12 game win streak as Rengar only, proceeded to then lose 6 straight games as the same champion and in all 6 of those games between the 24 other plays I had on my team there were only 3 of them who had a positve score. If this doesn’t sum up the luck based system in the game idk what does. That means that 21/24 of the last people I had on my team went negative. If 90% of the people on my teams over the course of about 3 hours of gameplay are going to be negative and losing lane consistently, this games matchmaking is awful. Imagine if someone played 3 hours of Call of Duty and 90% of his//her teammates went negative in total and he//she lost every game. There would literally be a patch to fix whatever the issue is and yet Riot still cannot make their game more than probably 40% skill at most.

If you win your lane 85% of the time and still win 50% of the time, there's something clearly wrong in what you're doing post-laning and to close out the game. edit : fuck it was a necroed thread, rip

WTF is happening my win rate was last year 70% now 33%[sg-shisa] I decided im not playing ranked anymore, because its annoying how sucks the players in my team..

sure its a gamble to find out which teammates you are matched with, but its really easy to abuse certain champions and mechanics to get out of low elo. for example learning how to split push and not die is by far the best way to climb in any elo. abusing non meta pics/roles is also a good way, and if you combine the two its almost guranteed you will win.

for example split push Shaco top is broken.

I have bad news for you.

You don't want to experience the Platinum Tier...because let me tell you I saw more skill while going through gold than the games that have me almost crying that I'm experiencing ever since I hit Plat 3.

And the mentality...oh boy...

Breaku5/14/2017, 12:43:24 PM1 votes

Nope.

While individual games have some variance, it's basically irrelevant after you've played enough games.

Not luck at all. :)

Scary Door5/14/2017, 12:51:46 PM1 votes

If we're talking about a small number of games or any individual game, then yes, luck does play some role in the equation. There are so many variables that figure into the mix which can contribute to your probability of winning----one of which being autofill.

Whichever team has the most autofilled players will likely lose the game.

Having said that, over a large number of games (around 100 or so), you will eventually settle into the rank that you belong. This doesn't mean you won't or can't improve, but it does mean that you are where you should be at the time.

I haven't bothered looking into your match history OP, but I have to believe you're somewhat responsibile for being where you are. Blaming your teammates for your rank is not a very fair or accurate way to look at things and it only makes excuses for you to not improve.
