Trying to enter Bronze Division

Hi everyone, I was gold last season and made a bet with my friend that I can carry bronze 5 players. So I decided to start my journey onto Bronze because the players there were so fun to watch and play with. It took a while but I managed to drop to silver 5. At 0 lp I've lost 30 ranked games in a row but even then the system won't allow me to go into Bronze. Is it impossible? Should I just start climbing again because I've already wasted so much time losing and don't wan tot continue if it's impossible to enter.

Please I need honest and serious answers. Thank you

Correct. The system will not let you drop. Check your MMR on op.gg and it'll probably say that you are way below your group average, which means you'll probably be playing with Bronze players anyway.

How was it possible for me to drop to silver from gold then? Wouldn't the same concept apply again when I'm trying to get to bronze from silver now?
