Going from 16 LP a win to 14 LP a win after going on a 3 game winstreak

Not sure if this is happening to just me currently, but I am losing 22 lp a game currently while gaining 14 lp. I know its your MMR that relates to it, but why is it that I go down in the LP I get after going on a win streak. Is it just the flaw in the ranked system that results in my going from plat 4 to having the MMR of silver 1? I would love to know since I am considering just to stop playing ranked due to the fact that even if i win 2 games and lose 1 I get a net gain of about 6 LP which results in over 38-39 games to get to the next rank (3 games= 6 lp 100/6=about 13 games * 3)(plus the added games of promos) This is very infuriating and has resulted in me getting demoted twice since the season start. Anyone have answers or a reasoning behind this massive inconvenience? It would be great in reducing the amount of frustration this game already supplies into my life.

Your MMR is fucked sounds like.

What about your last game? It was solo right? It should be different.

In other games you are duoing with silver player, thats most likely the cause.

LP gain / loss is affected by your MMR relative to the average MMR of the game. In most games, you should be right about at the average, so you gain/lose about the same. However, if you duo queue with someone who is lower than you, such as someone who might be named Imploded... that will mean your MMR will be higher than the average MMR of the game, which will be somewhere between you. As a result, you'll gain a little less for wins and lose a little more for losses.

Also, everything IP Masquerena mentioned is completely untrue. While Riot may track other stats, the only thing that affects your MMR is wins and losses, and the only thing that affects LP gains/losses is your MMR relative to the game and your MMR relative to your current rank. Nothing else affect MMR or LP.
