S GRADE AND IP

so I just got S grade in a match and got 70 ip what the hell, I bought pink wards got plenty of kills cleared my jg pushed there lanes why am I getting such a small amount of points but when I lose I get 200+ IP points RIOT please fix this issue, its extremely stupid how this works

IP is based upon match length as well as grade. Short match= Low IP.

IP is not based on grade at all.

The formula for IP gain is listed here: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752824-Reward-IP-XP-System-Breakdown

So unless Riots own support page is wrong or out of date or something; grades have nothing to do with IP rewards at all.

You did not get 200+ IP for losing.
