The new jungle feels like it gives less gold than before and the jungler is thus less impactful due to having less items. I feel like a second support now where my role is to attempt to support carries on my team and hope they can do something meaningful.
I get the feeling that is intended.
I know the feels... Yes less gold since they removed all the passive jungler gold from items. The closest thing is the poacher smite giving twenty bonus gold. You know have to gank lanes or counter jungle all the time or you will just fall behind everyone else.
yes the jungler can get less gold from jungle and the mobs are stronger than before(im talking about that damn dragon), but those jungle items makes the jungler very strong. Certain hero with 
is broken. For example 
got buffed so much because of that item. WW can one shot everyone early game, meanwhile yi melts tank mid to late game. (farmed yi melt tank anyways but with this item he melts them faster and safer. 20% dmg reduction and true dmg)
So would buying a 
as a gold gen stock item help at all? then sell it for last item later.
Or depending on if your champ uses mana 
Or maybe even 
for tax during ganks.
Honesly having the 
with a gold gen passive would be nice...
