Wukong rework ability ideas!!!
Ok so... I really don't want Riot to make his kit overloaded and I'd be satisfied with them just giving him a proper passive and moving the damage around his kit so he could be buffed a bit. But if and when they do decide to rework him here are some ideas.
A), B), C), D) are possible effect options under the same root idea.
Passive ability ideas:
-
Standing still for 1.5 seconds causes Wukong's next ability to A) deal extra dmg B) heal him C) cleave armor D) grant him a buff (movement or attack speed, extra ad, lethality, some form of survivability).
-
Dealing damage to an enemy grants Wukong extra attack range (range maybe for abilities as well) stacking up to x times at x stacks his next attack A) heals him B) grants him a buff (movement or attack speed, extra ad, lethality, some form of survivability, (a stack of "Arrogance" i.e. this combined with the 6th passive idea)).
-
Taking damage scathes Wukong's stone skin leaving behind pebbles, picking up the pebbles grants him a buff (a shield, movement or attack speed, extra ad, lethality).
-
Attacking enemies steals some of their armor (and mr?) possibly a flat amount that scales off of Wukongs own armor.
-
Passive shield that scales off of bonus ad regenerates out of combat or when Wukong takes down an enemy or a large/epic monster.
-
Killing enemy champions, large minions/monsters grants Wukong "Arrogance" stacks (more for champion kills obv.) for each "Arrogance" stack Wukong gains more out of combat movement speed and damage but loses bonus health. A) Wukong loses "Arrogance" stacks when gaining assists destroying enemy structures and epic monsters or dying. B) Wukong can turn his "Arrogance" into "Courage" by gaining assists destroying enemy structures and killing epic monsters. "Courage" stacks grant movement speed and health/armor. Half of the "Courage" stacks are lost upon death.
W ideas:
-
Wukong turns invisible (and ?untargetable?) for 3 seconds leaving behind an idle clone of himself after 1.5 seconds the clone explodes taunting enemies in a radius revealing Wukong. (Wu isn't revealed if the taunt doesn't hit. And I do understand that this is way overloaded but I'm just trying to pitch some ideas.)
-
Wukong shoots golden beams of light out of his eyes granting vision of any units(wards as well?), enemies hit A) lose a % of their armor for a duration B) are slowed, feared or taunted depending on their health % or kda or position towards Wukong(facing towards taunted facing away feared) C) are blinded and or take extra damage/lose resistances.
-
Keep the current W but make it so that it keeps aggro and is identical to Wukong aka if The Monkey King had a blue buff the clone will have one as well.
Ultimate ability ideas:
-
The Pillar of The Monkey King: Wukong plants his staff into the ground and goes untargetable as his staff grows to a massive towering size (almost as wide as the mid lane and longer than the rift (possibly a global range on the ability)) The Monkey King then pushes/dropkicks the staff over A) dealing damage and or stunning enemies hit B) squashing enemies flat and
:ing them for a short duration. (The staff can bend alot to make the skill shot move slower or it can be kind of like the lasers in Nexus Siege requiring a really long charge up) -
SaruHameHaa: Wukong aims his staff at a direction increasing it's size rapidly dealing damage and or stunning/knocking enemies up/back. (In the animation he could hold on to the staff and as it increases in size get dragged up or stay under it holding it up)
-
Flight of The Monkey King: Wukong jumps high into the sky using his staff landing down dealing damage and knocking enemies up in a radius (freely aimed Galio ulti with less range think Doomfist ulti from Overwatch).
-
Fast and Dumb: Current ulti (?without the knock?) up and with more range and damage possibly less duration. Make it more of a repeating "Decimate" than a "Judgement".
The untargetability effects and heals are there purely cause I've heard Riot Games call him a Top lane / Jungle diver
Appreciate your time! :D
