You can't balance your game worth shit and seem dead-set on following this "faster is better" philosophy that has pros and vets quitting left and right.

You refuse to do anything proactive to punish trolls and Inters at all and focus all your efforts on getting rid of people because they're "mean" in a muteable chat box.

Every "fresh idea" you've had just ends up plopping itself down into the festering pile of rancid unhealthy shit you've made the gaming experience.

You don't know how to do anything to combat the infestation of XP bots at low-level that make the already shitty smurf bloated low-level "new player experience" impossible for any true new players to ever actually want to put up with.

So fuck it, you people have proven you're beyond saving yourselves and this game, so fuck you I'm done, I'm not wasting anymore time on this festering mess with an entire leg in the grave.

They have been proving it the whole S8. The people "working" on this game are basically still the same, so no wonder things aren't going any better.

I'm pretty happy about one thing, ie. that the White Knights who kept try to find any embarassing excuse and fake-explanation in the past are finally realizing the bitter truth. Finally.

The fact that you can get a gold shut down on you just for farming. Had a feeding morde top who was 10 deaths by 20 mins and kept on farming and had a gold shut down on him xD whyyyyyy, this makes it even worse if you have a feeding laner who is trying to farm to get back into game but now rewards the killer

You should see Dota compared to League if you think League is toxic XD

Well we have. For several seasons. And it's all fallen on deaf ears. Nothing is left but to vent.

And on those going "this game is not dying", check the facts: League is a decade old game. Vast majority of the people who would have played it already did. And good luck keeping any new players with how abysmal new player experience is - so every angry vet leaving is a loss you can not make up for.

I can kinda relate with all the BS going on in league last couple of years. Realized things are going downhil a bit after some almost zero counteplay BS champions and reworks came out (cough Kayn and "true" stealth Akali)

Your customers are unhappy and these threads are getting up voted more than ever. The chat restriction bullshit is stupid and anyone that has a maturity level above 11 years old takes online toxicity with a grain of salt. Crazy how seasoned veterans of the internet suddenly become so offended by everything. It's almost like a reporting system that is absolute dog shit creates this sort of environment. You can completely mute someone yet Riot needs to show how big their dick is by banning whomever breaks their tyrannical bullshit chat rules. Isn't there a chat filter too????? Riot is literally the shit stain left from PC culture. Here's an idea! Train your brain dead Riot team to respond with any toxic complaints with a simple, "there is chat filter and mute button". PROBLEM FUCKING SOLVED. Any time you see a Rioter comment on these posts it's always "we do investigate trolls it's just a harder test case". And? They usually have a pompous and pretentious outlook also, like they are the key holder, everyone is wrong, see this is where you stepped out of line when you hit buttons with your finger and made words. The RIOT team is the biggest problem. How about you spend all those resources that you spent on your stupid bad word ai chat reporting system and paying these neck beards and instead use those resources to actually have a competitive league that is fitting of all the advertising and shill money spent on this atrocity of a competitive game. Honestly it's false advertising. This isn't a competitive game and the only thing keeping this sinking ship afloat is Riot's unbelievably biased and finger pointing community. You would think from this dog shit community that every bad decision Riot makes is the user's fault. What kind of shit company blames their paying and loyal customers and creates a community that bashes their loyal and PAYING customers? I've seen people that have been loyal customers for 4+ seasons and they are treated like absolute garbage on the boards, in game, doesn't matter. Their opinions do not matter.

Honestly I can say KYS at work, at home, in real life, to other people. The most I will get is a lol. In RIot's fucked up word kys is an insanely toxic, life ending, offensive 3 letter acronym that they can't even prove the meaning unless heavy context is taken from your conversation. What kind of authoritarian bullshit is that? How does a company dictate how human's interact? Show me the stats where someone typing kys makes people kill them selves. It doesn't. I would rather have someone call me every name in the book, threaten my family, than to be in a game where you are held hostage by edge lords who think they are genius because they can circumvent Riot's troll banning system. You know why? It's because I would rather spend 2 seconds muting than 40 minutes of my life taking it straight up you know where because I CAN'T SAY ANYTHING MUH REPORTING SYSTEM. 40 minutes vs 2 seconds to click a fucking mute button. Riot will blame you for their problems. The community will blame you for everything. The garbage Rioters on this board will CHERRY PICK as they please. The Chinese purchased Riot years ago and maybe that's why you see so much PC commie bs everywhere you look. There's no thought process or planning about personal human freedoms because that's not profitable. Keep them busy writing sincerely upset posts on the board that riot barely reads or gives a shit about. Get people emotionally invested because nothing is more frustrating then defending your self and getting chat banned because of it. I mean this is some intense psychological profit hacking. I'm sure millions of dollars were spent. Riot would do well to remember they do operate inside a free and prosperous country. One with laws to protect it's people from companies who think their law surpasses the country they reside in.

tldr; community is full of a bunch of passive aggressive jerk offs left over from the PC culture that died years ago. Only way to make them selves feel relevant is fighting against "toxic" people. Riot needs to stop spending time and resources on bad words hurt feewings and start focusing on creating a competitive environment that is fun and respectable for all. Not one that feels like big daddy is watching your every move. Last time I checked this isn't a toxic report checker find the toxic bad guy simulator. It's a fucking moba and yet almost every game digresses to the previous mentioned statement. CRAZY.

This game is progressively getting worse. That is the only thing "progressive" about this game. Remove reporting for anything typed. Riot is actually toxic for having chat bans it creates a toxic environment where everyone is trying to one up everyone else via toxicity or trying to fish people to break Riot's dog shit chat rules because they disagree or think they are intellectually superior. People actually admit on these boards that they do fish reports, like they spend their entire time online trying to get other people banned. What did you expect from a gaming platform Riot? People will try to win at any costs. Your customer relations department is absolute shit. In an actual competitive environment your patrons would help and support other patrons when they show unhappiness or hardship with the game. lol's competitive environment is full of cherry picking elitist, who always think they are right and have to prove it to protect their fragile ego. I don't blame them though. Riot has been the one paying and representing these people. Riot is at fault. Riot is to blame. Stop fighting among each other and point the finger where it belongs. Right in Riot's big fat nose and any person that represents this company. Riot's employees and shills are a very small percent of the actual community, and even they are leaving in droves.

Faster is not better. Turrets are like fucking silk fabric. Damage is too high. 15 minute games make me feel bad about playing because I didn’t do choose a lane dominating champion so the enemy team snowballed out of control. The defensive runes are a joke. Also what’s the point of a marksman? There’s only mages bot now.

I pretty much started copypasting my thoughts under threads like this one, because it got hard for me to phrase it differently everytime after repeating myself over and over again without actually being heard by Riot. I want to push these kinds of posts by sharing my point of view and I am glad they are increasing in numbers.

Starting season 8, League turned into a oneshot fiesta and a lot of champions lost their identities. Everyone deals a massive amount of damage and everyone can splitpush. Strategic teamfights turned into three seconds of button mashing. The calm aspect of the game, the part I loved most, completely vanished. Get seen/hit first, die. We became a Call of Duty MOBA.

For the first time in my life, almost every game of League felt empty, unsatisfying or frustrating. I kept telling myself: 'be patient, there has always been rough patches.' I kept telling this to myself for twelve months. I thought something similar to the old rune system would finally return, but this pre-season is a joke as well.

After agreeing that damage is too high (almost a year of complaints in), Riot releases the new Dark Harvest, just shifts the rune stat bonuses somewhere else and introduces completely inefficient defensive stats that are not worth taking instead of adding a true buff to overall defense.

I can not take another year of frustration. It is sad, but I guess I will turn my back on this game after six years and spend my free time meaningfully again. I really do not get how Riot does not see they could slow down the decline of their game massively by just reverting the rune system and champion base stats. It seems like the Chinese internet café scene is too important, so they force twenty minute oneshot fiestas down our throat.

I just want my favorite game back, but I guess that does not happen.

Easiest solution with a guaranteed chance of success in my opinion: revert Runes Reforged.

I feel you, I came back to the game after like 2 years and it did not changed a bit. Reworked champions are OP beyond believe and what was broken before is still broken to this day. Classic/ranked games are incredibly boring and you can't play ARAM because the "random picks" are broken. Ef this game. Goodbye.

Why i also quit my dude, and i've been playing every season since season 1, the game no longer cares about its player base anymore, judging at every fucking update they bring out. Its more concerned on how much money it can make from new skins, how to make the lcs gain more views, then actually fix the main game for the rest us. I've never had account per banned in 8-9 seasons, but fuck this seasons i couldn't handle it any more. Its sad really, its a shame we can't go back to season 2-3 when the game the was super fun.

At first glance, yes I would agree with your post, Riot is and has been being incompetent, and here is why.

Someone told me that Riot has been hiring a lot of people who have bad ideas, and people in charge are afraid to say no to these ideas for fear of being fired for equal opportunity complaints.

The Community has some effect to some degree on why they suck, because the community on some level sucks too. Not everyone, but a good amount.

Anime tropes are over done and ruin the game.

Memes and jokes are taking over for artwork and skins, turning them in to jokes for memes instead of making them good.

The LCS is a sham and makes the game look competitive when its clearly not given champ and map changes every month.

Honor system is a way to filter players into shit queues with no pay off for actually gaining honor.

Game balance has been inflated just like all multiplayer games over time, with stats and too many champs.

RGMs are not available for the massive pool of players with different tastes, i.e. when URF is out people want Dominion, and when Nexus Siege is out, people want Hexakill. Just put out the modes more often and give people what they want while you fix your game, because it isn't fun.

To be fair, I have seen Riot getting a little better lately, but they need to stop with the bad ideas in fear of some lady complaining if her idea is scrapped for sucking.

Ranked games, least for me, low diamond to high gold, feel like such a tar pit. This season, I have around a 40% afk rate in my games. They might not all be ragequits, but there are people in my games, RANKED games, leaving left and right. That's not even factoring in the people who just int or give up because they gave first blood, got caught and died, or just had a mental break down. Like, I get no racism, homophobia, kys stuff, but really, you guys are so focused on making sure they guy that gets called a doo doo head doesn't have his feeling hurt, rather than looking at the fact he's like 0/20 spamming dance in the fountain. If your blitzcrank bot can't spot it, maybe instead of investing so much on a new game, send some resources towards a new report system. Lord knows the other multiplayer games you plan to release will need it. Really don't care if I'm called a piece of s*** as long as the guy saying so is carrying his weight, why? because I play ranked to win, not make friends lol
