S2 Curse

Am I missing something or is S2 promo's cursed or am I just not ment to get there? 3 Times now in season 5 I've been in my promo's to S2 and win the first game...then proceed to lose the next 2 and go on a gigantic slump back to S5 0 LP I've worked my way back up to S2 promos then same thing after winning the first game. Just recently I was there yet again and was happy I might make it before season end finally but nope, win first then lose back to S5 I'm now back in S4 with like 90ish LP working back up hopefully to get there but what is it about that promo series that seems to trigger it, am I Just that bad or does it seem to curse other people as well I've talked to one other person who seems to have had the same issue...
