Must invite player into team builder to play?

So let me get this straight riot. Your logic of using team builder is to invite a friend if you want to be a captain. Otherwise if we want to join solo we still can. Uhm. What? If there are not a lot of people creating games with at least one friend then there isn't any teams to join. Am I the only one that thought this logic was extremely stupid and clearly GhostCrawlers failure is showing here?

Have you tried queueing? Unless you are mid and top, it's still almost and insta-queue.

this helps the problem of everyone making their own team.

High demand? How could so many people think this was a good idea? The wait wasn't that long when people were making their own rooms, but now it's longer than ever because not everyone has someone available for invite. Now I have to go into blind pick and argue with someone about who called jungle first or wait 15 mins just to find a room. Seriously, who demanded this?

Too many chiefs, not enough indians. You end up with a situation where few games are being made because there are tons of 3/5 full teams waiting for more players. It's a bad experience for everyone.

yeah i dont really like it either. i tried to join a group for mid but to me waiting for a team in teambuilder for more than 5 minutes is kinda ridiculous. im impatient and im sure other people are too. so i go into blind pick, sit in queue for a minute, and then try to type mid faster then anyone else. if i dont i end up playing something i dont want to play.....
