Senna's ult is way too fast

After being in a good number of games both as, with, and against Senna, I feel like her ult is way faster than a global ult should be. Other champions like Jinx or Ashe or Ezreal have relatively slow-moving ults that take a while to get across the map, and it takes a lot of positioning and luck to connect it long-range, especially because the hitboxes are relatively small. But Senna's ult is at least like 3 times as fast as other global ults, and it feels like twice the hitbox size, making it really hard to dodge yet easy to hit. I've seen multiple times where Sennas have used her ult to steal a kill way on the other side of the map, pretty much instantly. In one game I had, Senna completely trolled our Nasus, ulting nearly every kill that he tried to secure all the way from botlane and once from spawn; there's no way that an Ashe or a Jinx could do that. It really shouldn't be possible, and I feel like it just enables trolling and toxicity.

One way to fix this is by making it the same speed or only slightly faster than other global ults. Another (probably more controversial) way is by making it have the same range as a Lux ult or something, but definitely not global.

Well OP,

Rito seems intent on making bot lane unplayable unless you pick the same handful of meta champs. Overloaded Pyke wasn't enough, we need another overloaded support now with crit!

The cast time is much longer than other global ults, and the damage is lower. Enemies across the map get plenty of warning before it hits them.

Enemies getting a warning isn't really what I'm worried about though. The sheer speed that it travels at makes it easy to hit and hard to dodge no matter how much longer the cast time is. And Senna's ult does more damage than a couple of other global ones from what I've seen, it just depends.

Why wouldn't the warning be anything you're concerned about? That warning gives people plenty of time to get out of the way. The cast time is people's time to dodge, instead of a travel time.

Senna's ult: 250 / 375 / 500 (+ 100% bonus AD) (+ 40% AP) on a 160/140/120 second cooldown.

Ezreal's ult: 350 / 500 / 650 (+ 100% bonus AD) (+ 90% AP) on a 120 second cooldown, reduced by landing Qs.

Draven's ult: 175 / 275 / 375 (+ 110% bonus AD) x2 hits on a 120/100/80 second cooldown

Jinx's ult: 250 / 350 / 450 (+ 150% bonus AD) (+ 25 / 30 / 35% of target's missing health) on a 90/75/60 second cooldown.

So no, Senna's ult does not do more damage than other global ults in any situation. Other global ADC ults do more damage on shorter cooldowns at every stage of the game.

Would still take all those more damage ults over a travel time of 20000. You are top lane, your laner get's a nice CC on you, keeps you locked down. Here comes an global ult from the bot lane fired while you are fighting.

Ez, Draven, Jinx, Ashe all miss as they arrive too late after the fight.

Senna's does not.

That's the difference.

So Senna's ult is better at assisting distant allies, but worse at securing kills for herself in her own lane.

Her ult does something new and cool, but is balanced by its lower damage and longer cooldown.

Don't forget that Draven's ult does reduced damage if it goes through other champions or minions.

You forgot ashe buddy.

ashe's ult is also a hard 3 second stun. does it need saying why the arrow needs to be slow?

also it damages you twice.

200 / 400 / 600 (+ 100% AP) secondary damage 100 / 200 / 300 (+ 50% AP)

senna's ult is more useful as a sheild then a damage ult being slow would make it used even more for sniping rather then sheilding teammates as the teammate would probably be dead by the time it reaches them.

As a sup I think the shield should be faster than the damage. A little weird to see but fair. Will be harder to hit? yes. So what? she is a support not a carry. The shield will save your ally like a soraka and the waiting will create a "safe" zone for your team because the damage is coming and the enemy will need to think if it is worth cross that line.

Will be much more a support and more interesting gameplay.

less and less counter play each new release

at least ezreal / jinx ult has travel time

The problem with Senna is that there is virtually no counter-play to her. She wins every trade regardless of how you approach. It's getting r%%%%%ed with these overloaded champions.
