Who is responsible for Akalis death? The W is 100% understandable, but everything else, not really. Please, no, I am actually not kidding, get that moron fired.

First off, you know damn fucking well this is not a Zoe treatment, this nerf is far fucking greater. Before you get patch 9.3 out, you must give Akali some buffs, and revert that stupid heal off of Q decision. No one and I mean absolutely, NO ONE, complained about her shit heal being a broken part of her kit. I check to make sure, no one, on Reddit or this Board gave an actual complaint about her Q.

Her Q can only heal if she is at max energy. How is that not balanced?

Honestly, I am so lost for words to the point where I am not going to write a fucking essay about how fucking stupid those nerf decisions are. Even the so-called "buff" is not going to save her little ass you dumb smug. You really honestly think people hated her rework? No, they did not, only her fucking W. HOW ARE YOU GUYS THIS... AAAAAA

They know. They've stated several times that they know this is a huge nerf to Akali, and they're leaving her like that for a patch or two.

Their plan is to nerf the crap out of her and remove the unhealthy, problematic parts of her kit that she depends on to function. Then, once they have data of her struggling, they will buff her. They'd rather not throw a bunch of changes at once and overshoot the mark. Instead, they'll leave her weak and incrementally buff her until she's good again.

My criticism of this idea is that it will be difficult to gather data when her pickrate drops down to basically zero. She's not going to be picked if she has a longer TTK than most assassins and doesn't have the sustain or towerdiving power she had before to make up for it.

Really? I've seen it mentioned in several of the akali hate threads.

It's probably an over nerf, but really good Akali players got quite a bit out of the heal. Tend to agree somewhat with the first response about how bad her play rate will fall, but honestly a lot of the people that stop playing will just be because they can't run up kills as easily and they only played her because of how suffocating and overpowered her kit could be in competent hands and even worse if you ran up in to a one trick.
