My main was plat and i played adc but i always struggled to carry with it if other lanes got behind, which happens a lot on my new account. I can win lane and have 10+ kills but cant 1v5. What is the best role tto carry myself out? Mid?

Do not play support if you simply want to carry.

That is the worst idea possible! You'll end up turning into a toxic monster because you see every little mistake being made. I've seen supports like this, and it isn't cute. They eventually morph into the Annie/Brand/Lux supports that take ignite, steal kills, and don't buy Sightstone. The team needs a basic functioning support, especially the ADC. They may not have to make any plays, but their job is crucial and often over looked. When they aren't preforming that job against a competent team, well then you're going to lose.

The one thing you should know about supports is that they have their eye on the map always, so trust their pings and choices. Respect for your support isn't kissing their behind, it is listening to their pings. If you realize you have a decent support, then learning to do that is going to make your climb a lot easier in my opinion.

If you want to carry then I would choose the jungle role. Top and mid are a close second. The reason I don't recommend ADC is because if you do get a bum support you're at a disadvantage, not as much as a support with a bum ADC, but it is significant enough most of the time.

Probably Mid, Jungle or Support.

Mid-lane can roam to side-lanes or help with invades on their side of the jungle. In addition, they are often a role which provides CC, burst damage and waveclear for their team, making them useful in teamfights and siege situations.

Jungle can influence every lane when played appropriately and provide vision in the river and/or enemy jungle for their team. They are generally the one who decides how the early-game progresses by determining where and when they allocate their time.

Support is the play-maker in bottom lane and who determines how the lane progresses. They generally provide protection for their team (through shields, CC, heals) and utility items. The difference a competent support can make in lower ELOs is massive, especially since there is a good chance that the enemy support isn't one themselves. The ability to provide proper ward coverage and roam to setup plays is fantastic.

I'd say jungle or top and mostly for playmaking. If you mid you can also take TP and play a roamer. You mostly need to focus on pinging the F out of objectives while your brain dead team mates are all tunnel visioning the enemy support.

Jungle is the best role by far to carry with. To carry with it, you need to control the game by taking objectives, and making sure your lanes are all ahead.

Mid is second easiest, because they can easily positively influence their jungler, and negatively influence the enemy jungler.

The other two are FACTS, this one is my opinion. Top is 3rd best because you can easily snowball your lane. Almost all top laners in this meta can 1v1 well, and can easily force trades/fights. When you get ahead, you keep shoving and make people come to you. If they dont, free towers, and free kills. If they do, easy double kills (or your team gets tower if they know what they are doing)

As ADC, although you CAN carry, Its a lot harder because u need 2-3 items, depending on what carry you are playing. If your other lanes feed too hard before you can pop off, you will have a hard time.

And support... well you can't really carry on support. You can get your lanes ahead, but if they don't know how to play, there's nothing you can do.
