Ranked 3v3 queue broken?

Hello friends, I was wondering if anyone has had an issue with ranked in threes. We were gold 2 on the team in question (had five teams in gold at one point just with different people) and this season we placed silver 1. NORMALLY I would be ok with this, its a very easy grind back up to gold.

HOWEVER, we won 5/5 of our placements, and 4 games since then, but were playing against Bronze teams... Last season we were playing against plat teams and even had a match against one of the challenger smurf teams.

If anyone else has had this issue would you care to shed some light on what may be going on?? I know solo queue matters not at all but we're gold, plat, and plat.
