Is it just me or does the game really snowball now?

So I've played a few games so far in the new season. From what I have gathered, the game favors snowball champs. Personally, I'm not against this. I love to play champs that snowball. However, it seems like once a team is ahead it stays that way. There doesn't seem to be much you can do once you are too far behind. Now of course it's bad to ever fall behind, but the game seems to be decided by who's ahead 15 minutes into the game. I sort of like this and at the same time I sort of don't like it. What do you guys think?

yeah If you die level 1, by the time you get back to level they're level 3 or 4. Its kinda dumb

The entire game is a snowball now. First team to take a average-level lead has their minions do more damage to enemy minions. Towers are so easy to kill. It is A LOT harder to make a comeback now aside from getting that late-game ace and pushing to victory

I hate it. The game has gone into a dumb state. Now the game feels like surrender at 10. I don't even feel there is a strategy anymore.. or a late game.

Noticed the same thing myself. Also noticed that individual skills are lacking as if people forgot how to play. Haven't been this frustrated with game since the HUD update.
