Future of Autofill

Hello, everyone!

It's a few days already, since I'm asking myself for one thing, what is going to happen with autofill in a future... I wonder, if Riot Games are planning to do something with it (deleting it for example, best option I guess).

Why am I even writing this all? Well, You see, I have no problem being filled, I can assure You, I really don't have even a little problem with it. I can play discreetly every single role (but mid/supp main). But not everyone can, right..? I don't know how about You, but I see trolls and rage kids all the time... I actually think in more like 75% of my games, at least 1 player in game starts annoy and bother other ppl with his problem with autofill... I always tell them something like "Well, You know, We're all autofilled sometimes, so what about playing what You got and stop bother other ppl with it..?" And then They start crying like "But I can't play supp (in most cases)!" so I tell them something like "Well, why do You play and ruin ranked games of other ppl?? Go learn to play all roles in normals and don't do this dude". You can imagine what They start to tell me after that (yes, toxicity comes in).

I was always wondering why people can't learn all lines... Playing one or two these days is nonsense, since We have autofill here. Which gives me an idea, that ppl are stupid or lazy... I don't see any other logical reason why ppl can't learn other lines (just discreetly)...

I am trying to learn to main adc role. I played it for some time, can play discreetly a few adcs, but I wanna main it, because I can easily find a duoQ partner on that role, which could allow us together rise in divisions. Well, as a adc, I can tell You, it is pain to play adc these days!!! As I mentioned before, in most of games, ppl have no idea how to properly play support role and They pick nonsenses like Lux, Xerath or other mages, in best They take runes like Dark Harvester, going straight for ap build and let's go! Let's go steal adc farm, let's go steal adc kills, he doesn't need it! How can I be useful in game as a adc, if I have no support, to actually support me... It's actually the reason why supports are there... to support adc, You know..?

You see? It drives me crazy already just by writing this everything to You, guys :D...

So, to the point. This all brings me to the one idea, to the one last question.

What are You, Riot Games planning to do with this?

What about just deleting this..? Trust me, there are already enough support mains... I don't think ppl will wait for like 5 or 10 for game... No, not anymore...

Autofill these days brings to the game only toxicity, chaos and in most of the games,_ it cause lose of the game anyway_!

I will tell You a short example, a story, that actually happened to me few days ago.

As I said, I'm trying to learn adc role.** I was looking for support mains** in one of Facebook groups in my country (cz/sk). In a few minutes I find one. So We started playing games together. Played first, second, third and a few more... But... We we're loosing a bit, actually We had like 55-60% win rate only... What was happening? I tell You what. He played mages with me on that bot... And don't take me wrong, We were sucessful in that bot. We actually was winning that bot and owning it a s hell, damn We had so much fun :D. Trying some combos like Zoe and Jhin You know... Crazy things, crazy combos, alot of fun... But... Later in game..? It caused problems... I, as a adc was struggling. So what We did after We figured out a problem? We switched the roles. You know what happened?** Our win rate drastically jumped from those poor 55-60% to 90-95%!!!** Why? How is it possible You ask? It's because I am support main and I know what to do as a support. As a caster support, I healed him, I shielded him, I gave him boosts. As a tank support, I protected him (trust me, getting to my adc through me is true challenge). I was watching progress of the game, tried analyze the moves of enemies, which helps me to predict Their next move (and trust me here or not, I can reallly predict Their moves, so We could easily dodge ganks, save my other teammates or even steal dragon). Also as a support I have in 95% of games the biggest vision score. I know where to put wards, I know where enemies put their, I always have 2 pinks with me. So We were just winning and winning... I was starting to be bored actually by winning :D. It's a long time since I was winning like that...

Now let me explain You, what happen, if You play as a mage as a support:

• As a mage, You need golds to be able to buy items, so that You can deal massive damage. Where You get those golds..? By killing monsters, minions and players...
• As a adc, partner of mage, You are convicted to be something "lesser" in that game. Because You will lose some of the minions, but most importantly, the kills...
• As a adc, You have no support, that supports You in any way. There is no support, that will heal You, shield You, give You movement speed, or protect You as a tank, or taking care of You in any way You can imagine...
• Most of the mage "supports" don't even care about wards...
• With this all, You can't play adc role properly...

Do You see the problem, Riot? Try to think about this, guys... Autofill does not helps the game anymore. It's not healthy for game anymore. I'm sure people will rather wait a few minutes, than having troll support...
