Need a little help

Hey everyone recently my computer crashed, so I'm buying a cheap laptop until I get something better.. I'm just wondering if my client will run smoothly the specs are amd dual core processor 4gs of ram 500 gb hard drive and it's also hp with Windows 8.1. That's all I really know about it. Does anyone know if I should even bother? Or if it's good enough? Thanks :)
