Edge of Night + Fiora's ult

Why doesn't edge of night block Fiora's ult? If it blocks Zed's ultimate it sure as hell should block Fiora's ult as well.

It doesn't cleanse anything. It prevents initial application.

It didn't get rid of Zed's ult. It blocked the initial application.

That said, pretty sure it blocks the initial cast.

There are some things that doesn't pop the shield like some AoE skills, miss fortune's E for example, maybe as it is some kind of AoE it's not affected by fiora's ult, but i'm not actually sure.

Also, I think Edge of Night item 3814 should block Fiora's Fiora riposite (parry). However, the item doesn't appear to block Fiora's riposite at all.

For example, as I play Zed, I activate my Edge of Night and wait for the item to be fully activated. Then, Zed ults in Fiora and the item item 3814 should block Fiora's riposite, but it doesn't at all.
