What is the point of smurfing? It literally fucks with low elo players trying to climb Youre telling me a lvl 31 playing irelia with 399 mastery points on her has the mechanics to properly land her E and pull off her combo with such quickness and precision to kill an entire enemy team? There is utterly no teamwork in low elo so if you try to come up with a plan to stop her, you cant. Youre almost guaranteeing your team is going to win and the enemy team is just fucked so...I understand if youre trying ro help your buddy climb but he cant get better if you drag him up the ladder.

Most people do it for easy wins. They're not caring about their buddy or whatever, they're just caring about having fun.

Sure, sometimes you have people who actually do it so they can actually play with new friends, and sometimes it's so they can learn a difficult champion (I myself have one just to learn Riven on). Most of the time, though, it's just to stomp people who are the equivalent of bots to them.

I made a smurf account so I can play with my friends without skewing matchmaking too much (mostly norms) and to learn new champs

Winning is fun, losing isn't fun. Playing on a smurf means that you'll have more fun :)
