Dodging a Que in Ranked (Your Thoughts Plz)

I recently dodged a ranked que because I knew that one of the team mates I was matched with was a "troll" (in keeping with the language of League). I have only dodged a que a couple of times, but I knew one of the players I was matched with was an intentional feeder, because he ran up mid to feed the mid laner 10 times before going top to his own lane the game prior to the que I'm speaking of. There was no way I would risk another loss playing with this player again, so I dodged the que and warned the other players before hand and told them why I was dodging. After playing a number of ranked games, I believe we all get to know who will feed, who is just trolling the game, and who will try to actually win and be an effective team mate. it seems there are a number of players that play ranked games just to feed. Even though they've probably been reported a number of times, these players are still free to make our lives miserable. Why they haven't been banned? Your guess is as good as mine, but on that note... I believe being reprimanded for dodging a game, you know you'll lose, is unfair to the players that are legitimately trying to advance in their ranking. As I said, there are a number of players that most people are matched with, and you get to know who is serious and who is just making another player's life miserable for the sake of. I feel dodging a que should not be penalized. Riot should focus on the players that are making us feel the need to dodge a game in the first place. Players that are notorious for intentionally feeding, or going AFK when they rage quit, should not be forced on the players that give 100% effort to secure a victory for their team. Please share your thoughts. Thanks All. :)

i dodged a game a day during ranked, it hardly effects your status. sometimes there will be matches where you know you will lose because of how cancerous the players actually are. you hardly take a hit. just do it if you have to, just dont do it too often.

I spend 90 seconds in queue, get a game, bans / picks - down to fifth pick, someone dodges... assuming they only used HALF the time available to pick / ban I just lost a minimum of 5 minutes... Requeue - 90 seconds... blah blah blah, 5 minutes.... dodge.

I've just wasted almost 15 minutes because two people thought they had a "troll" in their lobby. Now eliminate the penalty for doing so?

I spend 90 seconds in queue, get a game, bans / picks - down to fifth pick, he didn't get the lane he wanted, he throws a fit and dodges. I spend 90 seconds in queue, get a game, bans / picks - fifth pick isn't communicating, no one wants to play with THAT guy, someone dodges. And so on and so forth - to the point that dodging has no penalty, people dodge when they don't get their ideal comp, their lane they want, the champ they want... the MAJORITY of the games would result in dodges.

There are penalties for a reason.
