Could Twitch be reworked to be primarily Jungle?

Hi, casual player here who loves Twitch and is disappointed at his place in the current meta. I know he moves up and down and has been pretty strong bot-lane at times, but with some marksmen moving jungle I wanted to know what Twitch players, mains or otherwise, would think of a rework moving him to the jungle. It seems like the fun feeling of being Twitch, with split-pushing, assassinating, and dominating team-fights could be achieved in the jungle. Any thoughts on how this could work, or even if it would be a good idea at all? One thought would be to take away his ability to crit but add sustainability. He would be useless in lane but could still be valuable in mid to late game.

To add, he would still need most of his kit intact to feel like Twitch. His passive, ambush, expunge (contaminate), and ult would need to be the same or at least feel similar. His W could definitely be changed without changing his feel. I'm thinking more weaknesses/strengths added to him to shift him from lane to jungle, but any thoughts would be welcome. Who knows, Riot might even pay attention to these posts if we come up with something that makes sense.

Yeah, no. Twitch is already annoying enough to deal with as is considering I can't approach my wave for a while if he's a jungler due to his stupid cheese gank, I don't need him picked more frequently in the jg.

The very rare, occasional Twitch jungle is enough as it is. No thanks. The invisibility is too strong and if you even think of mentioning Shaco, I've got a few things to say to you. Early levels, his Q invisibility doesn't last quack and so it makes getting directly on top of laners difficult. Another point I'd like to get across is his Q produces orange smoke at the point-of-cast that is visible even through non-warded brushes. Meaning, if you are constantly checking the non-warded bush, you can have some sort of heads up/time to react. Twitch Q has no downsides other than how Twitch becomes visible at a certain range (which is basically his auto range so by then it's too late) or its channel time (but he can still channel out-of-vision because the Q duration is the same at level 1) so jungle Twitch basically makes these "downsides" null and void.

Point taken. This might be a bad overall idea. A current Twitch jungle is either a joke or a monster. I was just wondering if a serious rework could make him less of a troll pick for jungle while giving him an option other than being useless bot-lane without a strong support. I realize Twitch isn't alone in being weak bot-lane, all hyper-carries are weak bot-lane right now. Maybe making him an interesting jungler could be better than than him being weak/strong bot.

What's the point? So he can gank us with his Q that lasts way too long?

His Q could always be shortened or a rework. like I said, he would need some weaknesses added. Even in bot lane, twitch has been always one buff or nerf away from OP or barely viable. I was thinking maybe Twitch players could come up with a rework that could stabilize him for jungle. Or even stabilize him for bot lane, since I just love Twitch.

I used to play him a lot but now he's really weak against other adcs

I love him but it's tough luck getting a strong enough support to feed him into what he's made to be. Playing safe can keep him alive but he needs help getting him the kills to become the dirty rat the enemy hates

Same can be said for any adc at all. They all suck noatter where you play them. The S7 meme has returned because riot gutted them. I don't think we need another Evelynn Rengar but he does consistent damage.

Yeah Twitch is fine it is the jungle/scuttle that is messing everything up. Twitch jungle I feel is better than Lane.

Twitch has everything in his kit already and is considered a jungle pick wouldn't have to adjust anything to shift as he is a laner/jungle pick, just the silly meta means either lane or funneling(due to jungle/scuttle changes).

Judging by your post history you hate champs that make you play passively i.e twitch/shaco.

You earn your wave you aren't entitled to it freely, you sound like one of the top laners praising the 8.10/8.11 nerfs so you could "1 vs 1 bru" while being hypocritical that jungle is 2-4 levels below you now from 4-10 min mark.

Smart post. Twitch probably is an effective jungler in better hands than mine. I might give it a try sometime. I put up this post to try the community's thoughts on the jungle twitch rework idea I had, but I think the consensus is that he doesn't need more help in the jungle. He isn't great right now, but that's more about adcs, and especially hyper-carry adcs, not being great right now. That's a bigger issue that Riot would need to tweek

Just to be clear, I'm not begging for Twitch to become broken/OP, even though an OP champion would feel great at my low skill level. It's more that he's a champion that I loved back when I started playing 4-5 years ago and it would be fun to continue playing him. I'll try showing him a little love if I get bot lane in blind pick. And once I get more comfortable in the new jungle, I'll try that rat out of lane.

Thanks for the thoughtful responses.
