MAJOR Problems With Warwick

So, I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post in, was thinking about posting in the Bugs forum, but figured General Discussion might get more foot traffic, shrug.

Anyways, I'm a huge huge HUGE fan of the new Warwick, I have been since the rework, I absolutely LOVE what they have done with him. Old Warwick was something I never touched, but new WW is my go to Jungler and just fun champion.

The problem is, his W always seems to just bug out for me, ARAMs and Summoner's Rift included. There will be an enemy with like 10 HP left and my passive on my W just won't be active. Or, for example, I just played an ARAM in which I was running straight down the lane in the exact direction of their 50~ HP Corki and I was just calmly walking instead of full on wolf sprinting. Or, another thing that happened was that, in the previous example, my screen didn't have the red tint to it and there was no blood scent, but in this example, the tint was there, I could SEE the blood scent of exactly where the Wukong I was hunting was, but once again, I wasn't running, just calmly walking. I even USED my W for that last example I'm pretty sure to get in faster. I'm aware that the speed boost mostly(?) goes away with combat, but most of the time I'll be running from behind a tower or from base or something like that.

Warwick's new W is amazing, and I love the "champion fantasy" it brings, when you are hunting down someone with sub 20% health and you are just ZOOMING down the map towards them, it's invigorating, but I just don't get why it's not working the way it's (seemingly) intended to work.

  1. Gameplay videos of this would really help back up your claims. Not that I'm saying you're straight-up lying (I do believe you), but video evidence lends support and clarity.

  2. I believe the movement speed from this W only applies outside of combat. You may have been considered to have been in combat in these examples.

Yeah I see the out of combat stuff, but I'm saying this happens like when I respawn, or when I am just leaving base and there's zero chance that I am in combat. I'll try and figure out how to get video examples.
