He did that on the Korean Server, yes. However, he still said it starts getting really hard around plat if you're playing Yi.

The point is it's (apparently) easier to go that Fiora.

Which is the point of the original post mind you. Yes you can say it's hard, but not only is it possible, it's generally going to be more possible (imo) the higher up you go to be successful with Yi over Fiora.

I'm a Diamond 5 Master Yi main and I can attest to this. Your contribution and game impact is almost directly proportional to how many items you can acquire in a good time. He always has potential to come back from a hard early game but it gets harder at such a level because people often know how to shut you down and choke out your resources.

Overall he is a pretty unforgiving champion to play if you fail at stuff.

lol fiora has 10% ad increase and true damage? other then that they have similar abilities. ( MasterYi q = mini Fiora ult and q, Fiora e = mini ult, a form of survivability on both of their w's)
