The Ashe auto-q reset change feels terrible
Q - Ranger's Focus NEW MINIMUM ATTACK DELAY - Instead of fully resetting Ashe’s basic attack, casting Ranger’s Focus reduces her basic attack delay to 40% of the full value (no reduction if the delay is already below 40%).
FOR EXAMPLE If Ashe’s delay between basic attacks is 1 second, casting Ranger’s Focus brings that delay down to 0.40 seconds for the next attack.
FLURRY DAMAGE 1.15/1.2/1.25/1.3/1.35 total attack damage ⇒ 1.05/1.1/1.15/1.2/1.25 total attack damage
Patch 6.20 saw some more Ashe nerfs (completely unnecessary ones at that) and I have quite a few complaints as an adc player.
First of all I feel like the amount of Ashe nerfs are going too far, multiple patches in a row you keep hitting her and while the first couple nerfs were reasonable and justifiable, this one is too far.
She's already in a relatively weakened spot due to the rising of Jinx and Ezreal and the nerfing of Sivir and Jhin, her matchups now are sub-par at best.
There's really no reason to take off a significant amount of damage from her Q like that, but if you for some reason feel like it does too damage, whatever keep the change.
But what absolutely cannot stay is the auto Q reset change, it feels so awful and unnecessary.
It feels like the goal was to add unnecessary clunkiness to the ability to make it feel bad to use early while also weakening her trading potential in lane.
Remember when Lucian's E didn't reset his auto attack? It felt terrible to use at most stages of the game and caused a lot of people to beg for it to reset his auto attack as a QoL change (slight buff).
Why reverse from that and go from making champions feel better to use to making them feel worse to use?
That change absolutely needs to be reverted.
Sincerely, an angry ADC player who remembers the horrors of Lucian's E not resetting auto attacks.
TL;DR - The auto reset change added awful clunkiness to the ability while simultaneously nerfing the damage on it and slowing her trading in lane. Think of Lucian's old E and how it felt so bad because it didn't reset the AA.
