Veigar can't stay like this!

Hi, I used to be a Veigar main and it makes me sad how bad he got since the dfg removal and now the 5.4 patch. The 5.4 patch had some good changes for veigar no doubt really, the lower cd and mana costs are awesome and the double stacking Q farming is godlike. BUT: his stun is now absolutely useless. Everytime you cast it the enemy will just walk in the middle of it and kill you (Lane opponent). And the extra range doesn't do anything since they can just run out if you hit them on the edge. :(
AND: without a proper stun his W (dark matter) becomes almost useless aswell. Almost every mid has an instant cc spell and can combine it with flash to engage, Veigar cant, he can only farm...might aswell go farmville huehue This makes him 0% viable compared to others midlaners or even supports! SO: My first idea is a to give the stun a lower range but to make it instantly appear again. Now since you guyswill probably never go back to old things, my second idea is A COMPLETE REWORK of the champion. The new Q mechanic can stay but the rest is really outdated and does'nt fit into the game anymore since it has become way more dynamic since veigars birth.
